Atins Lagoon Hiking Trip

We will pick you up from your hotel in Barreirinhas between 7:40 and 8:20 am. From there, we will take a 4x4 trip to the Preguiças River, where we will board a raft and cross to the other side.

After crossing the river, we will begin a one and a half hour hike through Lençóis Maranhenses National Park. Our first stop is Atins beach, where we will see where the Preguiças River meets the Atlantic.

We will continue walking for another 15 minutes until we reach a lagoon surrounded by dunes called Canto de Atins. The hike continues to the Época lagoon, a freshwater oasis where you will have free time to take a dip and relax.

After resting, we will start the return journey, stopping for lunch at one of the restaurants along the way. You will also have the option to relax in a hammock.

Finally, we will head back to Barreirinhas, arriving around 4:30 pm.
