Atins Lagoon Hiking Trip
Pick-up from your hotel in Barreirinhas is scheduled between 7:40 and 8:20 am. A 4x4 trip to the Preguiças River follows, where you will board a raft to cross to the other side.
After crossing the river, the hike begins, lasting one and a half hours through Lençóis Maranhenses National Park. The first stop is at Atins beach, observing where the Preguiças River meets the Atlantic.
Continue hiking for another 15 minutes to reach Canto de Atins, a lagoon surrounded by dunes. The journey proceeds to Época lagoon, a freshwater oasis, where you will have free time for a dip and relaxation.
After reenergizing, the return journey sets off, including a stop for lunch at a nearby restaurant. You can also relax in a hammock.
Conclude the trip with a return to Barreirinhas, arriving around 4:30 pm.
