Hiking Expedition to Bonita Lagoon

Your journey begins with a hotel pickup in Barreirinhas between 1:30 pm and 1:50 pm. From there, we will travel in a 4x4 vehicle towards the Preguiças River, where we will transition to a raft to glide across the water to the opposite bank. Once ashore, we will set out on a hiking path leading to Bonita Lagoon.

As we traverse the magnificent Lençóis Maranhenses National Park, the hike will last approximately one hour, allowing us to appreciate the expansive lagoons sheltered between the towering dunes. The highlight of this segment includes scaling a 65 ft sand hill, where breathtaking views of Bonita Lagoon await you.

Upon descending, you will have some free time to unwind, take a refreshing swim, or bask in the sun. The experience culminates with the breathtaking sunset over Barreirinhas, a truly enchanting sight that will leave a lasting impression.

The excursion concludes as we return to Barreirinhas around 7:30 pm.
