Lagoa das Emendadas Excursion

Discover one of the wildest landscapes in the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park on this trip to the Lagoa das Emendadas.

Description

At the scheduled time, we will collect you from your hotel in Santo Amaro do Maranhão. We will then travel by minibus to the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park to explore its dunes and visit the Lagoa das Emendadas.

Upon arrival, we will start a hike lasting around 1.5 to 2 hours, covering a total of 6 kilometers (3.7 miles) to reach Lagoa das Emendadas. Along the way, we will encounter other lagoons in Lençóis Maranhenses, with short stops for photos and swimming.

At Lagoa das Emendadas, we will admire the location and learn about the native flora and fauna, including bird breeding and potential sightings of little turtles. We will conclude the tour by watching the sunset over the lagoon before returning to the minibus. After 5 hours together, we will arrive back at the hotels, concluding the tour.
