Lagoa das Emendadas Excursion

Description

At the scheduled time, we'll collect you from your hotel in Santo Amaro do Maranhão. We will take a minibus to Lençóis Maranhenses National Park to explore its dunes and visit the Lagoa das Emendadas.

Upon arrival at the national park, we'll begin a hike that will last around 1.5 to 2 hours. The walking route covers a total of 6 kilometres (3.7 miles) as we make our way to Lagoa das Emendadas, located in a wild area of the park. Along the route, we will encounter other lagoons in Lençóis Maranhenses, with short stops for photos and swimming.

We will reach Lagoa das Emendadas, where we will learn about the native flora and fauna, including bird breeding and little turtles. We will then watch the sunset over the lagoon before starting our journey back. After approximately 5 hours, we will return to the hotels, concluding the tour.
