Tour Details

During the booking process, you can select between two different tour options in the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park. Both options include hotel pick-up and drop-off, transport in an off-roading vehicle, a Portuguese-speaking guide, and park admission.

4-Hour Tour

This tour begins with an off-roading vehicle ride to the pier of Barreirinhas, where we will board a ferry to cross the Preguiças River. Following this, we will continue in the off-roading vehicle for 50 minutes, where we can explore the dunes and lakes of the park.

We will stop at the dunes to admire the lagoons and have the opportunity to bathe in the rainwater ponds. The tour will culminate at the tallest dune for a sunset view in this setting.

Schedule: this tour operates at 1:30 pm and 2:30 pm.

9-Hour Tour

This full-day tour offers a scenic exploration of the Lençóis Maranhenses. We will travel in an off-roading vehicle to Lagoa Azul and Lagoa Bonita. The first stop will be at Lagoa Azul for a refreshing swim, followed by time for lunch at Lagoa Bonita.

After lunch, we will explore the area and climb the adjacent dunes for scenic views. The tour ends with sunset views before returning to Barreirinhas approximately 9 hours later.
