Activity Details

Day 1: Barreirinhas - Baixa Grande

On the first day, between 2:45 and 3:00 am, pickup will be at your hotel in Barreirinhas, followed by a ferry to Lençóis Maranhenses National Park. A hike to the village of Baixa Grande will commence, covering approximately 4 miles with views of lagoons and sand dunes. Arrive in Baixa Grande in the afternoon to meet a local family and spend the night.

Day 2: Baixa Grande - Queimada dos Britos

After breakfast, we will hike towards Queimada dos Britos, taking about five hours to reach this idyllic oasis. Enjoy the landscapes of Lençóis Maranhenses National Park and spend the night at Queimada dos Britos.

Day 3: Queimada dos Britos - Betânia - Santo Amaro

At 4 am, a breakfast will be served before we start a seven-hour trek to the community of Betânia. Continue to enjoy the landscapes and lagoons. Upon completing the trek, a 4x4 vehicle will transport you to your desired location in Santo Amaro.

Accommodation

The tour includes two nights accommodation with breakfast in a hammock at a local family's home.
