Activity Details

Day 1: Barreirinhas - Baixa Grande

On the first day, between 2:45 and 3:00 am, we will pick you up at your hotel in Barreirinhas and take a ferry to Lençóis Maranhenses National Park. Upon arrival, we will hike to the village of Baixa Grande, trekking for about 4 miles and admiring the lagoons and sand dunes. We will meet a local family and spend the night in Baixa Grande.

Day 2: Baixa Grande - Queimada dos Britos

After breakfast, we will hike toward the oasis of Queimada dos Britos for approximately five hours, continuing to enjoy the landscapes of the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park. We will spend the night at Queimada dos Britos.

Day 3: Queimada dos Britos - Betânia - Santo Amaro

In the morning, at 4 am, we will have breakfast and begin the trek to the community of Betânia, which is about a seven-hour hike away. We will enjoy the stunning landscapes and swim in the park's lagoons. Upon finishing the hike, a 4x4 vehicle will take you to your desired location in Santo Amaro.

This tour includes two nights accommodation with breakfast in a hammock in a local family's house.
