Day Trip Details
At the designated time, we'll meet at Parque Colón and leave Santo Domingo to begin this day trip. After a 2.5 to 3-hour drive, we'll arrive at our destination, where we'll board a boat and set sail for the cays of Los Haitises. We'll pass through mangrove forests and visit the petroglyph caves featuring Taino artwork. We will also stop at the Arena Cave, located next to the beach.
The route will then continue towards the island of Cayo Levantado, where we'll enjoy a delicious lunch consisting of a typical Dominican dish.
Finally, we'll return to our original meeting point, concluding the trip after a total of 12 to 13 hours.
