Day Trip Details

The day starts with pickup from your hotel in Santo Domingo, followed by a trip to the Bayahibe Dock for departure to Saona Island.

After boarding, we will embark on a boat voyage to Saona Island, known for its captivating landscapes. Our first stop will be at El Toro Beach, where you can enjoy snorkeling or a swim in the Caribbean Sea for 45 minutes.

Next, we will sail to Mano Juan, a village on the southern tip, where you can have lunch at your leisure, with local lobster stands as a highlight. Mano Juan also features a turtle sanctuary.

We will then cruise through the Catuano Channel, a natural area with mangrove swamps, providing opportunities to see turtles and small Caribbean sharks.

The final stop is at natural pools near Saona Island for 45 minutes of swimming. After this, we will return to the Bayahibe dock and then back to your hotel in Santo Domingo, approximately 11 hours after pickup.
