Day Trip Details

The day begins with pickup from your hotel in Santo Domingo, followed by a journey to the Bayahibe Dock for our boat excursion to Saona Island.

Upon arrival at the dock, we will embark on a boat voyage to Saona Island. Our first stop will be at El Toro Beach for 45 minutes, where you can snorkel or swim in the Caribbean Sea.

Next, we sail to Mano Juan, a village on the southern tip of Saona Island. You will have time to enjoy lunch at your own pace, with popular options including local lobster stands. Mano Juan also features a turtle sanctuary.

After leaving Mano Juan, we cruise through the Catuano Channel, known for its mangrove swamps, offering sightings of turtles and small Caribbean sharks.

The final stop is at a set of natural pools off Saona Island, where you will have 45 minutes for another swim. After this, we will sail back to the Bayahibe dock and return to your hotel in Santo Domingo, approximately 11 hours after pickup.
