Santo Domingo Food Tour
At 9 am, we'll meet at Plaza Pellerano Castro to start a walking tour through the Colonial City of Santo Domingo. Are you ready to taste the most traditional flavors of the Dominican capital?
As we explore iconic locations such as the Panteon de la Patria and the Catedral Primada de America, we'll discuss traditional dishes of Santo Domingo, including quipe, a Lebanese pastry that arrived with immigrants to the southern region.
We will sample seasonal fruits and sweets, and visit Santo Domingo's Chinatown for famous recipes, including a Chinese steamed bun.
Additionally, we'll tour the Mercado Modelo, the largest market in the city, and visit other sites such as the Museo Casa de Tostado, Parque de la Independencia, and Little Haiti. We will conclude our tour at Isabel La Catolica Street with a Dominican beer before finishing at Parque Colon at 12 pm.
