Private Shore Excursion in São Paulo
Our adventure begins at 8:30 am, where we will convene at the cruise terminal in Santos and board a vehicle bound for São Paulo. Following a drive of approximately 1.5 hours, we will reach the heart of this vibrant Brazilian metropolis.
Upon arrival, we will dedicate 4 hours to exploring São Paulo. Our journey will kick off at the Museum of Contemporary Art of São Paulo, where we will ascend to its panoramic terrace, offering one of the finest views of the city!
Continuing on our way, we'll traverse the iconic Avenida 23 de Mayo towards Liberdade, recognized as São Paulo's Japanese district. Remarkably, this area hosts the largest Japanese population outside Japan!
Our next point of interest is the renowned Sé Cathedral, boasting the title of the fourth-largest Gothic cathedral globally. We’ll then stroll past the São Bento Monastery, Martinelli Building, and Altino Arantes Building, the latter reminiscent of New York's Empire State Building! Highlights will also include a visit to the Viaducto do Chá, the Municipal Theatre, and the City Hall.
Our tour proceeds to the Municipal Market, where we will identify and taste the most typical local products. Next, we’ll make our way to Paulista Avenue, the city's bustling hub, and then to Beco de Batman, an area vibrant with colorful street art nestled in the artistic neighborhood of Vila Madalena.
We will conclude our excursion with a return trip to the Santos port, arriving back by 4:30 pm.
