Sao Paulo Private Shore Excursion
At 8:30 am, we'll meet at the cruise port in Santos and board a vehicle to head for São Paulo. After a 1.5-hour drive, we'll arrive in the center of the Brazilian city.
Once at our destination, we'll explore São Paulo for 4 hours. The first stop will be at the Museum of Contemporary Art of São Paulo, where we'll go up to its panoramic terrace for one of the best views of the city.
Next, we'll proceed along the emblematic Avenida 23 de Mayo towards Liberdade, São Paulo's Japanese quarter, the largest Japanese community outside of Japan.
Then we'll see the famous Sé Cathedral, the fourth-largest Gothic temple in the world. The visit will continue with a pleasant walk in front of the São Bento Monastery, Martinelli, and Altino Arantes, reminiscent of the Empire State Building. We'll also visit the Viaducto do Chá, the Municipal Theatre, and the City Hall.
The tour will continue to the Municipal Market to discover the most typical products of the country. The next stops will be Paulista Avenue, the nerve center of the city, and the popular Beco de Batman, a corner full of colorful street art in Vila Madalena.
Finally, we'll take you back to the port of departure in Santos, arriving at 4:30 pm.
