Boat Tour Details

If you're in Portonovo and want to explore the Cíes Islands, meet at Rúa Rafael Pico, where the ferry departs. You'll have the whole day to explore this Galician enclave. Activities include hiking or enjoying the beaches and crystal clear waters, with a recommendation to visit Rodas Beach.

At 7 pm, return by ferry to Portonovo.

If you want to return another day, indicate this during booking. Camping on the islands requires prior authorization from the Galician Government.

Guided Tours in Low Season

In low season (October 1 - May 14), the ticket includes a 1-hour tour with an official guide, as independent visits are prohibited. The guide will accompany you during the boat trip and show main routes at the Cíes pier, sharing anecdotes about the history, fauna, and flora. This service is not provided during the 10 days of high season for Holy Week.

Authorization From the Xunta de Galicia

In high season (May 15 - September 30, and during Easter week), bring your own authorization from the Xunta de Galicia to access the Cíes Islands. This will be emailed to you. For the rest of the year, the guide handles it.

Authorization for Campers

Campers must process their own authorization or cancel it if necessary. If not canceled by the campsite, the shipping company cannot cancel boat tickets. Contact the campsite for cancellations before dealing with the shipping company. Once an authorization is linked to a shipping company, it cannot be transferred to another. Canceling a reservation requires canceling the authorization first.
