If you're in Portonovo, you have the opportunity to visit the Cíes Islands, located in the National Maritime-Terrestrial Park of the Atlantic Islands of Galicia. After a half-hour boat ride along the Atlantic Ocean, we'll arrive at Cíes Islands. You will have the rest of the day free to explore the surroundings.

The islands offer Caribbean-style beaches and wild nature, where you can enjoy the sun, swim, or hike on various routes available.

The return time will be between 5:30 pm and 6:50 pm, depending on the permit granted by the Galician government for that season.

The return timetable from Cíes Islands to the port of Portonovo is as follows:

Xunta de Galicia Permit

You can only request your permit from the Xunta de Galicia during the 30 days before your visit. Once processed, it will be sent to you.

Authorization for campers

If you decide to stay at a campsite on the Cíes Islands, the campsite must process your authorization or cancel it if necessary. If not canceled by the campsite, the shipping company cannot cancel your boat tickets.

To cancel your trip, contact the campsite first. After confirmation of cancellation, then contact the shipping company within the refund period to cancel your tickets. An authorization linked to a shipping company cannot be associated with another company, requiring a new authorization if you cancel your reservation.
