Ons Island Ferry
The Maritime-Terrestrial Natural Park of the Atlantic Islands is a protected area off the coast of Galicia. Begin your trip by meeting at the Juan Carlos I Marina before boarding the ferry to Ons Island. The journey takes approximately 40 minutes from Sanxenxo, offering an alternative to the Cíes Islands.
On Ons Island, enjoy the sea breeze, the Atlantic's crystal waters, and picturesque landscapes. You can also taste the local fresh fish at traditional restaurants.
Return Ferry Times
During booking, specify your desired return time from Ons Island. If you wish to return on a different day, indicate this in the booking. Camping requires prior authorization from the Xunta de Galicia.
Authorization to visit Ons Island
Ons Island has a daily visitor quota, so you need authorization from the Xunta de Galicia to visit. In high season (from 15 May to 15 September and Easter), bring your authorization, which we will email you. Outside this period, guides will provide the authorization on the tour day. For cancellations, notify us at least 15 days in advance with the absent person's name for removal from the list.
Guided Tour of Ons Island
From 1st October to 14th May, the ferry ticket includes a one-hour guided tour of Ons Island, except during the 10 days of Easter (from the Friday before Easter to Easter Sunday).
