On this tour of Aracaju, we'll get to know the capital of the state of Sergipe. We'll see the main monuments of the old town, delve into its history and visit Praia de Aruana.

Description

Between 7:30 and 8:40 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel, and at 9 am, we'll start our tour of Aracaju, which will take us to admire the city's main charms.

During the tour, we'll combine walking and minibus rides for a complete overview of the capital of the Brazilian state of Sergipe.

The first stop will be at Largo da Gente Sergipana, a monument featuring eight sculptures that honor folkloric manifestations of Sergipe, including the caboclinhos and taieira.

Afterwards, we'll explore the municipal market of Aracaju and the Albano Franco market for an hour, showcasing Brazilian cuisine and local handicrafts.

We will also climb the San Antonio hill to review the past of Aracaju while enjoying a panoramic view of the city.

Next, we'll visit the Metropolitan Cathedral, a late 19th-century building in neo-classical and neo-gothic styles. Nearby, we'll discover a lace-making technique recognized as Cultural Heritage of Brazil.

To conclude the activity, we'll visit Praia de Aruana with two and a half hours of free time for lunch and a swim in this white sandy beach.

We'll finish the tour by dropping you off at your hotel between 3:30 pm and 4 pm.
