On this excursion to Mangue Seco from Aracaju, we'll discover a fishing village surrounded by dunes and coconut trees, known for its appearance in a famous soap opera.

Mangue Seco Excursion

We'll depart at 7 am from your hotel in Aracaju towards Mangue Seco, a village situated between the states of Sergipe and Bahia.

Upon arrival, we'll enjoy a boat ride through Mangue Seco, cruising along the Piauitinga and Real rivers. This will highlight a natural environment rich in coconut trees and dunes, characteristic of northeastern Brazil.

After the boat ride, we will proceed to Mangue Seco beach to embark on a buggy tour of the inlet. This area is renowned due to a 1990s soap opera called Tieta, based on a book by Brazilian author Jorge Amado.

In Mangue Seco inlet, you'll have two hours of free time for a refreshing swim in the Atlantic or to relax at a beach bar. Don’t forget to take a photo with the famous coconut trees named Romeo and Juliet.

After our time at Mangue Seco beach, we will return to your hotel in Aracaju, arriving by 5:30 pm.
