Praia do Saco & Tambaquis Lagoon Excursion

At 7 am we'll pick you up at your hotel in Aracaju and head south, following the coast of the state of Sergipe.

After a journey of 76 kilometers (47 miles), we'll arrive at Praia do Saco, known for attracting many famous visitors. Its landscapes are captivating and provide a stunning backdrop.

You'll have two hours free in Praia do Saco to swim in the Atlantic Ocean and enjoy one of its many seaside restaurants. The local cuisine reflects the tradition of northeastern Brazilian gastronomy.

The excursion continues to the unique natural area of Lagoa dos Tambaquis, a lake where we'll observe dozens of fish up to 50 centimeters (20 inches) long. This species is notable as one of the largest freshwater fish in Latin America.

Finally, from Lagoa dos Tambaquis, we'll return to your hotel in Aracaju, arriving at 5:30 pm.

This tour includes pickup from the hotels in the central area of Orla de Aracaju. If you're staying in other areas, an alternative meeting point will be provided.
