The beaches of the state of Sergipe never disappoint. This excursion from Aracaju will take you to Praia do Saco & Lagoa de Tambaquis, where you'll see its famous large fish.

Praia do Saco & Tambaquis Lagoon Excursion

At 7 am we'll pick you up at your hotel in Aracaju and head south, following the coast of the state of Sergipe. After a journey of 76 kilometers (47 miles), we'll arrive at Praia do Saco, known for its beautiful landscapes and attracting many visitors.

You will have two hours free in Praia do Saco to swim in the Atlantic Ocean and enjoy meals at local restaurants. The dishes reflect the culinary tradition of northeastern Brazilian gastronomy.

The excursion continues to Lagoa dos Tambaquis, a lake filled with fish up to 50 centimeters (20 inches) long, one of the largest freshwater species in Latin America. Finally, from Lagoa dos Tambaquis, we will return to your hotel in Aracaju, arriving at 5:30 pm.
