On this day trip to the São Francisco River from Aracaju, we will see how it flows into the Atlantic Ocean in one of the main natural spectacles in northeastern Brazil.

Day Trip Details

We'll pick you up at the indicated time from your hotel in Aracaju to head towards the São Francisco River, also known as the Velho Chico. Upon arrival at the riverside, we will take a boat trip along the São Francisco River, viewing locations where films, such as Deus é Brasileiro, were filmed.

The journey will continue to the mouth of the river, where it meets the Atlantic Ocean. This area features mangroves, dunes, coconut trees, and river islands, allowing for photographs of the landscapes from the boat.

After admiring the mouth of the river, we will stop for a refreshing swim, followed by an hour free for lunch at a restaurant. We will then sail back to the departure point and return to Aracaju, with arrival at your hotel scheduled between 11 and 12 hours after pickup.

Boat Ride

The tour may or may not include the boat trip fee, which is dependent on availability. Children under 6 years old do not have to pay if a fee applies on the day of the tour.
