One of the largest navigable gorges in Brazil awaits you on this excursion to the Xingó Canyon, a spectacular gorge of the São Francisco River that will captivate you from beginning to end.

Xingó Canyon Excursion

We'll depart at 6:30 am from your hotel in Aracaju towards the São Francisco River, where we'll find the Xingó Canyon, the fifth largest navigable gorge in the world.

Once we arrive, we'll embark on a boat ride through the Xingó Canyon, during which we'll admire red rock walls that reach up to 50 meters (164 feet) high. You'll have the opportunity to photograph these impressive walls from the boat.

As we sail through the turquoise waters of the gorge, we'll also see the original sets where the soap operas Velho Chico and Cordel Encantado were filmed. Stories and curiosities about these series will be shared.

The boat ride then takes us to the Talhado Grotto, where you'll have two hours free to swim in the São Francisco River. You can also use this time to enjoy your own food.

Finally, we'll sail back to the departure pier and return to Aracaju where arrival at your hotel is set for 7:30 pm.
