In this São Joaquim apple tour, you will learn about the cultivation and distribution of apples, with the opportunity to pick your own apples directly from the tree.

Pickup will be arranged at your hotel in São Joaquim at your preferred time. This crop is significant, representing more than 80% of the city's economy.

The first stop is the Company of Agricultural Research and Rural Extension of Santa Catarina (EPAGRI), where you will understand the region's role in the preservation and sustainable use of natural resources in agriculture.

Next, you will visit a processing facility to learn about the journey of apples from harvesting to distribution, including washing and selection, and discover the prominent varieties, such as Gala and Fugi.

If you're hungry, we will then visit an apple orchard where you can pick apples directly from the trees and taste them.

The tour will conclude after four hours, with drop-off at your hotel in São Joaquim.
