São Joaquim Bike Tour

At the appointed time we'll meet at Praça João Ribeiro, located in the center of São Joaquim. From there we'll start a bike tour to visit the most emblematic points of this municipality in the state of Santa Catarina.

The first stop of this 7 km (4.3 mi) bike route will be Igreja Matriz, São Joaquim's main church. Then, we'll head over to the Monument to Manoel Joaquim Pinto to learn about the city's economic development.

We'll continue at Praça Cesário Amarante and Praça João Ribeiro, known for trees that freeze in winter, creating a unique landscape.

Additionally, we'll visit the historic center of São Joaquim and the Municipal History Museum, which details the city's past, including colonization and the wood cycle in Brazil.

This bike tour also includes a stop at the Mirante dos Pinheiros, a viewpoint on the city's outskirts to admire araucarias reaching up to 50 meters (164 feet). Here, we'll take a break with a bottle of water and apple chips.

Finally, after three hours, we'll conclude the tour at the starting point.
