Xaxins Trail Hiking Tour

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel and start an unforgettable hiking tour along the Xaxins trail. Ready to get to know the Serra Catarinense?

Over the course of 3 kilometers (nearly 2 miles), we'll follow a trail with a very peculiar name, which we'll tell you all about on the tour. Along the route, we'll have the opportunity to see the centennial xaxins, tree ferns endemic to the Atlantic Forest characterized by their thick trunk and large leaves similar to those of ferns.

During the tour, we'll see landscapes formed by waterfalls and other plant species, such as the araucaria. To recover some energy along the way, we'll take a break to drink water and eat some delicious apple chips.

After approximately two and a half hours of exploring the beauty of São Joaquim National Park, we'll conclude the tour at the starting point.
