Xaxins Trail Hiking Tour

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel and start an unforgettable hiking tour along the Xaxins trail. Ready to get to know the Serra Catarinense?

Over the course of 3 kilometers (nearly 2 miles), we'll follow a trail with a peculiar name, which will be explained during the tour. Along the route, we'll see the centennial xaxins, tree ferns endemic to the Atlantic Forest characterized by their thick trunks and large fern-like leaves.

During the tour, we'll view landscapes formed by waterfalls and various plant species, including the araucaria. To recover some energy, we'll take a break for water and enjoy some apple chips.

After approximately two and a half hours of exploring the beauty of São Joaquim National Park, we'll conclude the tour back at the starting point.
