Blumenau & Pomerode Excursion

Early in the morning, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Florianópolis and drive for two hours along the Brazilian coast to reach our first destination, Blumenau, located in Santa Catarina.

In Blumenau, we will stroll along the banks of the Itajaí-Açú River and admire the German-inspired architecture that reflects the history of German settlers in the region. We'll visit the Beer Garden, Blumenau City Hall, Metropolitan Cathedral, and Vila Germânica Park, where German culture is evident. A stop for lunch will allow you to choose between Brazilian or traditional German cuisine.

Next, we will head to Pomerode, recognized as the most German town in Brazil, with a high concentration of North German buildings. Here, we will see key landmarks, including Portal de Pomerode, Schmidt Porcelain Factory, Zoo, and Vila Encantada. There will also be an opportunity for free time to visit a craft brewery and participate in a beer tasting.

After exploring Pomerode, we will return to Florianópolis and drop you off at your hotel.
