Excursion to Nova Trento & Brusque

Your adventure begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Florianópolis. We will set off towards the northern region of Santa Catarina, and after a drive of just over an hour, we will arrive at our first destination, São João Batista.

Renowned for its production, this town boasts more than 150 shoe factories. Here, we will visit a traditional market showcasing local goods, which reveals the source of its fame.

Continuing our journey, we will head to Nova Trento, a municipality deeply shaped by Austrian, German, Polish, and Italian influences resulting from significant immigration in the late 19th century.

As midday approaches, we will pause for a satisfying meal at a traditional Italian restaurant (lunch is not included). Afterward, we will explore the town's highlight, the Sanctuary of Santa Paulina, recognized as the first Brazilian saint. This impressive sanctuary is a key attraction in the state of Santa Catarina, and its popularity is truly justified!

After our visit to the sanctuary, we will head to a local vineyard to explore the unique wines of Nova Trento, followed by a visit to a chocolate factory. Our guide will share insights into what makes these local products exceptional throughout the tour!

Lastly, we will arrive in Brusque, a fantastic destination for shopping. Here, we will visit FIP (Feira da Moda), which features hundreds of diverse stores. You will have around two hours of free time to shop according to your preferences.

We anticipate returning to Florianópolis by approximately 5 PM.
