Urubici & Serra do Río do Rastro Excursion

Day Trip Details

We'll pick you up at 7:10 am at your hotel in Florianópolis and head to Serra Catarinense. First, we'll visit Portal de Urubici, where we can take pictures and explore the charm of this town. Next, we will proceed to Morro do Campestre for panoramic views of the Canoas River valley, where we will learn about the region's geology.

Our adventure continues with a visit to a store selling traditional products from Santa Catarina. Then, we will arrive at the grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes, surrounded by dense vegetation. After this visit, we will provide free time for lunch in Urubici.

After lunch, we'll head to the impressive viewpoint of the Serra do Rio do Rastro, approximately 1,450 m (4,757 ft) above sea level, to admire its sharp curves and lush landscapes. We will then descend on the road, recognized as one of the most beautiful in Brazil.

Finally, we'll return to Florianópolis, concluding the tour about 13 hours later.

Hotel Pickup

Pickup is included for hotels located in the north, west and downtown areas of Florianópolis. If your hotel is outside these areas, you will need to meet at Shopping Villa Romana. The pickup time may vary based on your accommodation's location.
