Discover João Pessoa, a remarkable location in Paraíba, on our day trip from Recife. The itinerary includes exploring the historic centre, visiting beaches, and enjoying a unique sunset view.

João Pessoa Day Trip

Pick up from your hotel in Recife is at 7 am, followed by a 62-mile (100-kilometre) drive along the Atlantic coast to João Pessoa.

Upon arrival, we commence a guided tour starting with the historic centre, examining cultural sites such as Casa dos Azulejos, Casa da Pólvora, and the Church of San Francisco. The tour also includes a visit to Solon de Lucena Park and its lagoon.

After exploring the city centre, we will proceed to the beautiful beaches, including Cabo Branco Beach with its lighthouse, Tambaú, and Ponta do Seixas, the easternmost point in the Americas.

Next, we will visit the Paraíba Handicraft Market, where a variety of handicrafts such as clothes, ceramics, and traditional food are available.

The highlight of the day will be watching the sunset at Jacaré Beach while listening to Ravel's bolero. An optional catamaran ride during sunset can enhance this experience.

Afterwards, we will return to Recife, with drop-off at your hotel by 7 pm.

This activity includes pickup from Boa Viagem and Piedade in Recife. For hotels outside these areas, alternative pickup arrangements will be made.
