Discover João Pessoa, one of the most spectacular places in Paraíba, on our day trip from Recife. We'll explore the historic centre, visit the beaches and watch the sunset from a unique spot.

João Pessoa Day Trip

Pickup from your hotel in Recife is at 7 am for the 62-mile (100-kilometre) drive to João Pessoa. Upon arrival, a guided tour of the historic centre will showcase the city's cultural heritage with sights including the Casa dos Azulejos, Casa da Pólvora, and the Church of San Francisco. A visit to Solon de Lucena Park and its lagoon is also included.

After the historic tour, we will explore the nearby beaches, including Cabo Branco Beach with its lighthouse, Tambaú, and Ponta do Seixas, the easternmost point in the Americas.

Next, we will visit the Paraíba Handicraft Market to find various handicraft products like clothes, ceramics, and traditional food.

The day will culminate with the sunset at Jacaré Beach, accompanied by a bolero by Ravel. Optionally, a catamaran ride under the sunset is available to enhance your experience.

Return to Recife is scheduled for 7 pm, and you will be dropped off at your hotel.
