João Pessoa Day Trip

Discover João Pessoa, one of the most spectacular places in Paraíba, on our day trip from Recife. We'll explore the historic center and the natural surroundings, and watch the sunset from Jacaré Beach.

Day Trip Details

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Recife at 7 am and drive 62 miles (100 kilometers) to João Pessoa, known as the Easternmost point of the American continent. Upon arrival, a guided tour will take you through the historic center, showcasing the Casa dos Azulejos, the Casa da Pólvora, and the Church of San Francisco. Additionally, you will visit Solon de Lucena Park and its lagoon.

Next, you'll explore the Paraíba Handicraft Market, where a variety of handicrafts including clothes, ceramics, and traditional food are available. The day culminates with a sunset at Jacaré Beach, accompanied by a bolero by Ravel. A catamaran ride during the sunset can be included for an additional experience.

We will then return to Recife to drop you off at your hotel by 7 pm after a day of exploration in João Pessoa.
