João Pessoa Day Trip

Discover João Pessoa, located in Paraíba, on our day trip from Recife. The itinerary includes exploring the historic center and enjoying the sunset at Jacaré Beach.

Day Trip Details

Your day starts with a pickup from your hotel in Recife at 7 am. We will travel along the Atlantic coast for a distance of 62 miles (100 kilometers) to reach João Pessoa, noted as the easternmost point of the American continent.

Once in the city, a guided tour will take us through the historic center, showcasing its cultural heritage with sites such as the Casa dos Azulejos, Casa da Pólvora, and the Church of San Francisco. We will also visit Solon de Lucena Park and its lagoon.

Following this, we will head to the Paraíba Handicraft Market, where a range of handicraft products, including clothes, ceramics, and traditional food, are available.

The highlight of the day will be watching the sunset on Jacaré Beach with a bolero by Ravel. An optional catamaran ride during sunset is available to enhance your experience.

After a fulfilling day, we will return to Recife, dropping you off at your hotel by 7 pm.

Pickup is included from the Boa Viagem and Piedade areas of Recife. For hotels in other locations, an alternative pickup point will be arranged.
