If you're in São Luís and want to explore the coast, don't miss this São José de Ribamar and Raposa day trip. Ready to join us?

Description

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in São Luís and start our day trip to São José de Ribamar and Raposa.

At our first destination, São José de Ribamar, we'll explore the city on foot, visiting a sanctuary dedicated to the patron Saint of Maranhão and learning interesting facts about his origin and miracles. In the same square, we'll visit Our Lady of Lourdes Cave, Concha Acústica, observe sculptures, and the statue of São José de Ribamar.

Following this, we'll take a panoramic tour of the city's coast to reach Raposa, an old fishing town known for bobbing lace. You'll have free time to have lunch and try local Maranhão cuisine.

We'll then enjoy a 2-hour boat trip to explore the mangroves and vegetation in Raposa, with a swimming stop in a calm area. Finally, we'll visit the dunes on Curupu Island, walking about 10-15 minutes to Carimã Beach.

After a 6-hour long day trip, we'll return to drop you off at your hotel in São Luís.
