At the scheduled time, we will collect you from your hotel in São Luís. From there, we will venture beyond the city limits to commence our excursion to São José de Ribamar and Raposa. Let’s embark on this coastal journey through Maranhão!

Upon reaching our first stop, São José de Ribamar, we will stroll through the city. During our exploration, you will visit a sanctuary honoring the patron Saint of Maranhão, where you will hear fascinating stories about his history and miracles.

In the vicinity of the sanctuary, we will also check out the Our Lady of Lourdes Cave and the Concha Acústica, a site known for hosting outdoor religious performances. In addition, we will take time to admire the sculptures adorning the square, including the statue of São José de Ribamar.

After this visit, we will board our vehicle and take a scenic drive along the coastal area to reach our next destination, Raposa, a charming historic fishing village renowned for its bobbing lace. Here, you will have free time to enjoy lunch and savor local cuisine from Maranhão.

Following lunch, we’ll embark on a 2-hour boat excursion to delve into the mangroves and rich greenery of Raposa. We will also pause at a tranquil spot for swimming. Our adventure will culminate on the dunes of Curupu Island, where we will take a short 10-15 minute walk to reach Carimã Beach.

Ultimately, we will return to our vehicle and transport you back to your hotel in São Luís after a fulfilling 6-hour experience.
