Sao Roque Day Trip

Are you a wine enthusiast? With this day trip to Sao Roque, known as the city of wine, you'll try the excellent wines and also go to the Cacau Show chocolate factory.

Description

We'll leave Sao Paulo in the morning towards the wine region, with Sao Roque as the main destination.

Upon arrival, about 43 miles (70 km) from Sao Paulo, we will visit 4 of the most famous wineries. At these locations, you'll taste various wines accompanied by cheese and sweets, including the famous cachaça.

Our first stop is at Vinícola Terra do Vinho for insights on producing house wines, liqueurs, and sparkling wines. Next, we will visit Vinícola Canguera, known for its fine wines, followed by Frank's Winery for more house wine options. The tour continues to Vinícola Canquera and Palmeiras, home to Vinícola Goes, the largest and most traditional winery in the region, ideal for photos.

At Vinícola Quinta do Olivardo, a typical Portuguese house, we will take a lunch break and learn about the production of the famous "Vino de Muertos." After lunch, the tour shifts focus from wine to shopping.

Our next stop will be La Mega Tienda, located in the Cacau Show chocolate factory.

Hotel pickup

This day trip includes hotel pickup from hotels within a 4-mile (6 km) radius of Praça da Sé. If you're outside this area, we will pick you up from number 2355 on Avenida Paulista.
