Sao Roque Day Trip

Are you a wine enthusiast? With this day trip to Sao Roque, known as the city of wine, you'll try excellent wines and visit the Cacau Show chocolate factory.

Description

We'll leave Sao Paulo in the morning towards the wine region, with Sao Roque as the main destination. This town is located approximately 43 miles (70 km) from Sao Paulo. Upon arrival, you will visit 4 of the most famous wineries in the city of wine, where you will taste various wines, accompanied by typical cheese and sweets, including the famous cachaça.

The first stop is at Vinícola Terra do Vinho, where you'll learn about the production of house wines, liqueurs, and sparkling wines. Next, we will visit Vinícola Canguera, known for its fine and full-bodied wines.

Then, we will continue to Frank's Winery, which offers several house wines, before visiting Vinícola Canquera and Palmeiras, where the largest and most traditional winery in the region, Vinícola Goes, is located—a perfect photo opportunity.

At Vinícola Quinta do Olivardo, a typical Portuguese house, we'll take a lunch break before exploring the vineyards and learning about the production of "Vino de Muertos." After lunch, we will shift from wine tasting to shopping!

Our next stop will be La Mega Tienda, located in the Cacau Show chocolate factory.

This day trip includes hotel pickup from hotels within a 4-mile (6 km) radius of Praça da Sé. If you are staying outside this area, pickup will be from number 2355 on Avenida Paulista.
