Blue Pond Hokkaido Day Trip

We'll meet at Sapporo Station and embark on a 2.5 hour bus journey for a day of natural beauty. We will travel through the Hokkaido Biei Sky along the Roller Coaster Road, offering views of the region's scenery.

Our first stop will be the Blue Pond, near Biei, where we will discuss the theories behind its intense blue color. Following this, we will enjoy a free buffet featuring traditional Japanese dishes, then continue to either Shikisai-no-oka or Tomita farm, based on availability. Both locations highlight the flower fields of Hokkaido.

If we visit Shikisai-no-oka, we'll appreciate a valley where colors blend into various shapes. If we opt for Tomita farm, we will explore one of Japan's oldest fields, home to over 150 types of flowers.

To conclude the day, we will visit Ningle Terraces, a village featuring wooden houses with local artisans. Finally, we will return to Sapporo after 10 hours of sightseeing.

Tomita Farm or Shikisai-no-oka
