Our adventure begins at Zelenih Beretki 30 at 8 am, where we'll board a bus destined for Srebrenica, a town synonymous with sorrowful events.

During the two-and-a-half-hour journey, our route will take us through the towns of Vlasenica, Milici, and Bratunac, all of which experienced hardships during both the Second World War and the Bosnian War.

Upon reaching Srebrenica, nestled amongst mountains, we will delve into one of Europe's most tragic episodes following World War II. It was in this location that the Srebrenica Genocide transpired, resulting in the deaths of over 8000 ethnic Bosnian Muslims in June 1995.

Our itinerary includes a visit to the Srebrenica Genocide Memorial in Poto?ari, a site dedicated to honoring the victims, inaugurated in September 2003 by former U.S. President Bill Clinton.

As we make our way through the area, we will uncover pivotal events concerning the massacre, including the UN's ineffective response, the motivations behind the actions ordered by Bosnian Serb general Ratko Mladi?, and the far-reaching consequences of this genocide on a global scale. Additionally, you will have the rare chance to meet a survivor of the Srebrenica tragedy, who will recount the events of July 1995.

We'll also visit the Dutchbat UN base and the Genocide Museum located in Srebrenica. Following this, you will have two hours of free time to enjoy a meal at your leisure.

Before our return to Sarajevo, we will share insights about Srebrenica's water, renowned for its health benefits. The day will conclude with our arrival back at the starting point at 4 pm.
