The concept emerged from Yann Bouchard, a passionate local builder, who envisioned showcasing the most remarkable monuments of the Loire Valley through miniature sculptures crafted in limestone. The talented sculptor Philippe Cormand brought this vision to life with his creations, all displayed within the museum.
Your journey through the museum will be enriched by informative panels that narrate the collaboration between Yann Bouchard and Philippe Cormand, resulting in this unique underground museum located in Saumur.
