Description
When booking your boat trip on the Loire from Saumur, choose one of the following options. All depart at 3 pm from the Quai Lucien Gautier quay and end at the same point.
Boat Trip (1 hour)
This one-hour cruise offers stories about the longest river in France. As we sail, you'll see the castle of Saumur and notable monuments, including Le Dôme theatre, St Peter's church, and Cessart bridge, the oldest bridge in Saumur. An onboard guide will recount the history of these sites, which are icons of the Loire Valley, favored by kings and nobles for their châteaux and palaces.
Enjoy a drink during the trip with a choice of sparkling Crémant wine or fruit juice.
Sunset boat trip (2 hours)
This two-hour cruise allows you to admire the romantic sunsets of the Loire Valley. View the château of Saumur and surrounding monuments bathed in orange and scarlet tones. Experience the last rays of sunlight reflecting on the river waters under the bridges. This trip includes two drinks on board, with a choice of sparkling Crémant or local wines.
Timetable: 7.30 pm.
