Vineyard Tour in Saumur
At the indicated time, we'll meet at Av. du Général de Gaulle, number 80, to start this vineyard tour in Saumur, perfect for learning about the world of winemaking!
We'll head to the historic vineyards of Vignoble de Souzay-Champigny, where we'll share curiosities about the Loire Valley wines. We'll see how grapes are grown in this French region while we walk through the vineyards.
You will learn why the climatic conditions are fundamental for growing Cabernet Franc, Sauvignon, Melon, or Pinot Noir grapes used in the wines of Saumur. To complete our tour, we will enter a tasting room to taste 5 varieties of wines: white, rosé, red, sweet, and sparkling.
After 3 hours of immersion in winemaking, we'll conclude our vineyard tour in Saumur back at the starting point.
