Wormsloe & Bonaventure Cemetery Day Trip

We will pick you up at 9:30 am from the Savannah Visitor Centre and proceed to Bonaventure Cemetery, known for its beauty.

During the guided tour, dating back to 1846, we'll walk among moss-covered oak trees and 19th-century funerary monuments. The tombstones feature significant sculptures representing various figures, including composer Johnny Mercer, philanthropist Mary Telfair, and politician Edward Telfair, Georgia's first governor.

Following the cemetery tour, we will visit Erica Davis Lowcountry Restaurant. You will have 1 hour of free time to enjoy traditional Southern cuisine, including grilled dishes and seafood specialties.

After lunch, we will visit the Wormsloe Plantation, a Historic Site on the Isle of Hope, noted for its picturesque oak trees intertwined with Georgia's history.

Lastly, we will have a short stop at the Savannah Byrd Cookie Company before returning to the meeting point in Savannah, arriving by 3:30 pm.
