Balata, Saint-Pierre and beautiful natural landscapes await us on this tour of northern Martinique from Fort-de-France. You'll be captivated by the island's most northern point on this Caribbean island!

Description

At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from the meeting point in Fort-de-France that you choose and, from Martinique's capital, we'll head towards the northern part of the island.

The first stop will be at the Balata Sacré-Cœur Church, inspired by the Sacré-Cœur in Paris. During the visit, we'll compare the two monuments. Next, we'll visit the Balata Garden, a botanical space of around 3 hectares filled with various tropical flowers and plants known for their aromas and colors. After that, we'll continue through a tropical jungle, showcasing lush landscapes.

Continuing along a road parallel to the jungle, we'll stop at a restaurant for a lunch of typical island dishes. After eating, we'll head to the coastal town of Saint-Pierre, where we'll explore the history of the Pelée volcano eruption in 1902 that impacted the town.

The last stop will be at a rum distillery, offering samples of Caribbean drinks. Finally, we'll return to the meeting point in Fort-de-France, arriving 7 hours after the initial pickup.
