Balata, Saint-Pierre and beautiful natural landscapes await us on this tour of northern Martinique from Fort-de-France. You'll be captivated by the island's most northern point on this Caribbean island!

Description

At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from the meeting point in Fort-de-France that you will have chosen and, from Martinique's capital, we'll make our way towards the northern part of the island.

The first stop will be at the Balata Sacré-Cœur Church, inspired by the Sacré-Cœur in Paris. We'll explore similarities and differences between both structures. Next, we’ll visit the Balata Garden, an exceptional botanical space of around 3 hectares, featuring tropical flowers and plants renowned for their aromas and colors.

Continuing through a tropical jungle, we'll arrive at a restaurant for a delicious lunch of typical island dishes. After the meal, we'll head to the coastal town of Saint-Pierre, famous for the Pelée volcano eruption in 1902, which notably impacted the town.

The tour concludes at a rum distillery, where you'll have the opportunity to sample various Caribbean drinks.

We will return to the meeting point in Fort-de-France, completing the tour approximately 7 hours after the initial pickup time.
