Private Tour Details
When making your reservation, you'll have a choice of three options for your private tour of northern Martinique. Both tours include pickup and drop off at your hotel in Fort-de-France and an exclusive English-speaking guide.
4.5-Hour Tour
The tour begins with a guided tour of Fort-de-France, including the Saint Louis Cathedral. You'll then travel by minibus to the Sacré Coeur Church. The tour continues to the Saut Gendarme Waterfall for a swim, followed by visits to banana and sugar cane plantations and traditional markets in Saint-Pierre. You'll sample rum at a distillery and enjoy local ice cream. The tour concludes at the ruins of Saint-Pierre, a town destroyed by the eruption of Mount Pelée in the 20th century, before returning to your hotel.
5-Hour Tour
This option focuses on exploring the lush nature of northern Martinique. The tour includes travel along the Caribbean coast through Le Carbet, an organic rum distillery visit, and a stop at a black sand beach linked to painter Paul Gauguin. You'll spend two hours at the Martinique Zoo and then proceed to Saint-Pierre, visiting rainforests, the Alma River, and the Balata Botanical Garden, with a short stop at the Sacré Coeur Church before concluding the tour.
