This transport service to the Balata Garden allows you to travel to Martinique's botanical jewel from Fort-de-France.
Description
We'll meet at the scheduled time at the meeting point in Fort-de-France that you choose, and then make our way north towards one of the most visited places in Martinique.
First, we'll have a brief stop at the Balata Sacré-Cœur Church, built in 1925 and inspired by the Sacré-Cœur in Paris. We will stop for photos of this monument, which is uniquely surrounded by a jungle landscape.
Next, we will continue to the Balata Botanical Garden, where you can visit at your own pace. This expansive garden of nearly 3 hectares features over 3000 different types of plants and trees, especially tropical species.
The garden also contains a notable collection of orchids and other colorful flowers. The trails in this botanical space are ideal for walking and enjoying the area's natural beauty.
After approximately an hour of free time in the garden, we will reconvene at the main entrance and return to the different meeting points. Arrival back at Fort-de-France is expected to be around 2.5 hours after the initial pickup time.
