Embark on an unforgettable journey through the beautiful landscapes surrounding Sciacca as we visit the stunning locations of Cefalù and Castelbuono. This day trip takes you to northern Sicily, allowing ample time to discover two remarkable sites of the island at your own pace.

Cefalù & Castelbuono Day Trip

Your adventure begins at 8:15 am when we meet at your selected starting point. From there, we will board a comfortable minibus that will transport us to Cefalù, with a scenic drive lasting approximately 2 hours.

Upon arrival, you will have about 3 hours and 30 minutes to freely wander through Cefalù and savor its exceptional cuisine. Iconic landmarks such as the Cathedral, the historic harbor, and the medieval laundry await your exploration!

If you enjoy outdoor activities, consider taking a hike to the Rocca. This impressive promontory rises to 880 feet (268 meters) and provides breathtaking views of the surrounding cityscape and its pristine beaches. Nestled here, you'll also discover an ancient Norman castle and the Temple of Diana, tracing its origins back to the 9th century BC.

After we reconvene, we'll continue our journey to Castelbuono. Once we arrive, you'll have 1 hour and 30 minutes to explore this enchanting town.

Renowned for its vibrant carnival, delicious cheeses, and delightful panettone, Castelbuono boasts a quaint historic center nestled within the Madonia mountains.

During your time here, we suggest taking a stroll around the Ventimiglia Castle, originating from 1316, which has been transformed into an elegant palace. In addition to this site, you'll find a lovely Renaissance fountain and several remarkable churches, including the Matrice Nuova and the Church of San Francesco.

As the day draws to a close, we will return you to the meeting point, aiming to arrive by 7:30 pm.
