Palermo & Monreale Day Trip

Pickup will occur at 8:15 am from your selected meeting point, followed by a minibus journey to Palermo, taking just over 1 hour.

The first stop will be the Catacombs of Palermo, where you will have 30 minutes of free time to explore this funerary complex, significant for understanding life and death traditions from the 17th to the 19th century.

Next, you'll have 3 hours to explore the historic centre of Palermo. Notable sites include the Cathedral, Piazza Pretoria, Massimo Theatre, and Norman Palace, one of Europe’s oldest royal residences. Experience Palermo's gastronomy at a traditional market such as Capo or La Vucciria. After lunch, you will reconvene and head to Monreale.

In Monreale, you'll have 1 hour 30 minutes to visit the town and the renowned cathedral, established in 1174, featuring impressive biblical mosaics. You may also visit the squares of William II and Vittorio Emmanuele.

The return trip will conclude by dropping you off at approximately 6 pm.
