Palermo & Monreale Day Trip

Pickup will occur at 8:15 am from your chosen meeting point, and the journey to Palermo will take just over 1 hour by minibus.

The first stop is the Catacombs of Palermo, where you’ll have 30 minutes of free time to explore this funerary complex, which provides insight into life and death traditions from the 17th to the 19th century.

Next, you will have 3 hours to explore the historic center of Palermo at your leisure. Key sites include the Cathedral, the fountain in Piazza Pretoria, the Massimo Theatre, and the Norman Palace, one of the oldest royal residences in Europe. Enjoy traditional gastronomy at markets like Capo or La Vucciria.

After lunch, the tour will continue to Monreale via the Conca d'Oro Valley, with 1 hour and 30 minutes to visit the town. The magnificent cathedral, dating back to 1174, features numerous biblical mosaics, along with the charming squares of William II and Vittorio Emmanuele.

The return journey will conclude around 6 pm.
