One of the largest and most important archaeological parks in Europe awaits on our Selinunte Day Trip. You'll take a trip back in time to the period of Greek occupation in Sicily - let's go!

Selinunte Day Trip

At your chosen time, we'll convene at the agreed meeting point and set off on our minibus to the Selinunte Archaeological Park. The drive will take around 50 minutes.

Upon arrival, you'll have 3 hours of free time to explore the ancient Greek city of Selinunte, which dates back to the 7th century BC.

Discover life in classical antiquity when this Sicilian territory was part of Magna Graecia. The site features Doric-style temples, walls, and ruins of residential and commercial buildings.

The park offers informative panels detailing the history, including the attack in 409 BC that led to the destruction of many buildings and the loss of 16,000 lives.

As you walk around The Acropolis and view historic structures such as the Temple of Hera or the Sanctuary of the Malophoros, you will also enjoy views of the sandy beaches on Sicily's west coast.

After 5 hours of exploration, we'll return to the starting point and conclude the trip.
