One of the largest and most important archaeological parks in Europe awaits on our Selinunte Day Trip. You'll take a trip back in time to the period of Greek occupation in Sicily - let's go!

Selinunte Day Trip

At your chosen time, we'll convene at the agreed meeting point and set off on our minibus to the Selinunte Archaeological Park. The drive there will take around 50 minutes.

Upon arrival, you will have 3 hours of free time to explore the ancient Greek city of Selinunte, which dates back to the 7th century BC.

Discover the history of classical antiquity, when this Sicilian territory was part of Magna Graecia. The site features Doric-style temples, walls, and ruins of residential and commercial buildings.

The archaeological park provides information panels detailing the history of the ancient city, including the attack in 409 BC that led to significant destruction and the loss of 16,000 lives.

As you walk around The Acropolis, you will encounter historic structures such as the Temple of Hera and the Sanctuary of the Malophoros, complemented by views of Sicily's west coastline.

After 5 hours of history and culture, we'll return to the starting point to conclude the trip.
