One of the largest and most important archaeological parks in Europe awaits on our Selinunte Day Trip. You'll take a trip back in time to the period of Greek occupation in Sicily - let's go!

Selinunte Day Trip

At your chosen time, we'll convene at the agreed meeting point and set off on our minibus to the Selinunte Archaeological Park. The drive will take approximately 50 minutes.

Upon arrival, you will have 3 hours of free time to explore the ancient Greek city of Selinunte, established in the 7th century BC.

You will discover life in classical antiquity, as this region was part of Magna Graecia. The site features Doric-style temples, walls, and ruins of residential and commercial buildings.

The park includes informative panels detailing the history of the city, including the attack in 409 BC, which led to the destruction of many structures and resulted in 16,000 deaths.

While visiting The Acropolis and notable buildings such as the Temple of Hera and the Sanctuary of the Malophoros, you will enjoy views of the sandy beaches on Sicily's west coast.

After 5 hours of history, culture, and archaeology, we will return to the starting point and conclude the tour.
