Syracuse & Ortigia Island Day Trip

Meet at 6:45 am at your chosen point to board a minibus to Syracuse, with a 3 hours 30 minutes drive from Sciacca. The first stop will be the Neapolis Archaeological Park, allowing 1 hour 30 minutes for exploration. You can enter this ancient site, where you'll see a Greek theatre, a Roman amphitheatre, ruins of altars and temples, and caves used as prisons.

Next, we will travel to Ortigia, the historic area of Syracuse, where you'll have 4 hours to explore. Discover the significance of the birthplace of Archimedes and its history as a Mediterranean hub for 2,700 years. The area is recognized as a World Heritage Site.

While walking through Ortigia Island, visit the Temple of Apollo from the 6th century BC, the Cathedral, the Fountain of Arethusa, and Maniace Castle, and enjoy local gastronomy. The trip concludes at 8 pm, with drop-off at the starting point.
