Syracuse & Ortigia Island Day Trip

Meet at 6:45 am at your chosen meeting point to board a minibus to Syracuse. The drive from Sciacca will take 3 hours 30 minutes.

The first stop will be the Neapolis Archaeological Park, where you'll have 1 hour 30 minutes of free time. You can explore this ancient site in Syracuse.

During your visit, you'll discover the city's origins, including a Greek theatre, a Roman amphitheatre, ruins of ancient altars and temples, and caves used as prisons.

Next, we'll return to our vehicle and head to Ortigia, the old town of Syracuse, where you'll have 4 hours of free time to explore the island.

Discover the birthplace of the mathematician Archimedes and learn about the city's significance in the Mediterranean 2,700 years ago. The area is a World Heritage Site.

As you walk around Ortigia Island, you'll see the Temple of Apollo from the 6th century BC, the Cathedral, the Fountain of Arethusa, the Maniace Castle, and other iconic sites. Enjoy local gastronomy during your visit.

The day trip ends at 8 pm with a return to the starting point.
