Oban Town Walking Tour

We'll meet at the entrance of the Oban War Peace Museum harbour at the designated time and begin our guided tour to explore this lesser-known town on the west coast of Scotland. Oban, whose name comes from the Gaelic for "little bay," has a beautiful bay. On this tour, we'll visit Oban's most iconic sights, including its famous distillery, which is one of the oldest in Scotland, dating back to 1794.

After observing the distillery, we'll pass by the War and Peace Museum, where you can discover significant chapters of Oban's past, including events related to the Dutch ship SS Breda.

Finally, we'll approach the McCaig Tower, a coliseum-like structure offering the best views of Oban and its coastline. You'll learn about this notable building, which has become a symbol of the city.

We will finish this guided tour of Oban in the center of the town after 1 hour.
