An Unforgettable Grand Canyon Day Trip
The Grand Canyon is unlike anything on Earth and Pink Adventure Tours is your expert guide for this phenomenal experience of one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Our Grand Canyon Premier Tour offers an unparalleled journey, while you travel in style and comfort. You'll spend four hours inside Grand Canyon National Park on this extensive and immersive canyon experience traveling between the East Rim and South Rim entrances.
Your Certified Interpretive Guide will meet you at the Pink Adventure Tours Plaza in Sedona, where you will board a comfortable Mercedes Sprinter van. Relax in roomy captain’s chairs, indulge in a boxed lunch of your choice and enjoy views through large windows as you head north.
Leaving Sedona you'll enter Oak Creek Canyon, a National Scenic Byway and home to Slide Rock State Park and its natural rock water slide. This beautiful stretch of winding road climbs 4,500 feet to the top of the Mogollon Rim towards Flagstaff, Arizona. You'll travel along Historic Route 66 through the city's downtown area and then through miles of Ponderosa pines lining the way to Grand Canyon National Park.
Your premier canyon tour travels a scenic route through some of Arizona's most famous landscapes and across the Navajo Reservation. Your guide will share insights about the diverse geography, geology, plants and animals of the Southwest. Learn about the Sunset Crater area, Little Colorado River Gorge and Marble Canyon.
Capture 360-degree views of the canyon's eastern rim from the Desert View Watchtower, designed by famed Southwest architect Mary Jane Coulter. The Colorado River and its tributaries below reveal two billion geological years carved into the canyon's walls. Your expert guide will share the history, facts and legends that add to the allure of the vistas and distinct architecture of the area.
You'll stop at several viewpoints along Desert View Drive. Yavapai Point is the go-to spot for geology enthusiasts and offers some of the best views of the South Rim. From here, you'll enjoy unobstructed views in three directions and witness the famed North Rim landmark from the South Rim.
At Grand Canyon Village, free time will allow you to visit El Tovar, Hopi House and Kolb Studio or shop. Built in 1905, El Tovar still offers the most luxurious accommodations inside Grand Canyon National Park. Its rustic elegance harmonizes perfectly with the environment.
Your return trip will showcase the Arizona high county once more, as you head from the majestic splendor of the Grand Canyon back through the cool pines. This journey will leave you with memories to last a lifetime.
