Sport, history and food come together on this cycling tour of Segovia. We'll discover one of the 15 Spanish cities declared a World Heritage Site.
Description
At the scheduled time, we'll begin this electric bike tour of Segovia from the start of the Aqueduct Monument, located on Calle Coronel Rexach, 27. Ready to discover the city in a different way?
We'll follow the full route of the Aqueduct until we reach Plaza del Azoguejo. Then, we'll skirt along the medieval walls towards the San Lorenzo Church. After viewing its Romanesque architectural exterior, we'll take the Senda de los Molinos path parallel to the Eresma River to reach the Alameda del Parral path.
Next to the path is the Santa María del Parral Monastery and the Royal Mint, the first mint in Europe. We'll continue next to the Vera Cruz Church and learn its history before moving to the Alcázar and the two valleys' viewpoint for panoramic views.
The next stop will be at the Puerta de San Andrés, which accesses the old Segovia Jewish Quarter. The tour continues next to the Cathedral, including a tapa and a non-alcoholic beer.
We'll proceed next to the San Esteban Romanesque church, then towards Plaza de San Martín and the Postigo viewpoint for views of the Aqueduct. The tour concludes after 3 hours and 15 kilometres (9.32 miles) in front of the little devil statue.
