Sport, history and food come together on this cycling tour of Segovia. We'll discover one of the 15 Spanish cities declared a World Heritage Site.
Description
At the scheduled time, we'll begin this electric bike tour of Segovia from the start of the Aqueduct Monument, located on Calle Coronel Rexach, 27. We'll follow the full route of the Aqueduct in Segovia until we reach Plaza del Azoguejo, then skirt along the medieval walls toward the San Lorenzo Church. We will take the Senda de los Molinos path, parallel to the Eresma River, leading to the Alameda del Parral path.
Nearby is the Santa María del Parral Monastery and the Royal Mint, the first mint in Europe. The tour continues next to the Vera Cruz Church, ending at the Alcázar and the two valleys' viewpoint. Next, we will visit Puerta de San Andrés, the entrance to the old Segovia Jewish Quarter, followed by the Cathedral, where we'll enjoy a tapa and a non-alcoholic beer.
The tour proceeds next to the San Esteban Romanesque church, towards Plaza de San Martín and the Postigo viewpoint for views of the Aqueduct. We will conclude the tour in front of the little devil statue after 3 hours and 15 kilometres (9.32 miles).
