Begin this walking tour of Segovia from the base of the Roman aqueduct, the city’s most iconic landmark and one of the best-preserved elevated aqueducts in Europe.

Follow your guide down calle Real, Segovia’s main thoroughfare, to discover the Mirador de la Canaleja, which offers views over the San Millán neighborhood. Then, visit the Casa de los Picos, a fifteenth-century house with a distinctive façade, and learn about its history. Continue through the Old Town to Plaza de Medina del Campo, known for its historical significance and the San Martin Church, dating from 1117.

You will also visit the Plaza del Corpus (Corpus Square), dominated by the Old Main Synagogue, now a Christian church.

Proceed to the Plaza Mayor, which features some of the town’s prominent buildings, including the notable Cathedral.

Finally, cross the Canonjías neighborhood to arrive at the Alcazar of Segovia, a remarkable fortress. After viewing its exterior, you will enter to learn about its legends and history.

The tour will conclude at the Alcazar.
