On this guided tour, you'll explore Segovia and discover why it was declared a World Heritage Site in 1985. You'll also walk through the Plaza Mayor and explore the Cathedral and Alcazar.
Segovia Guided Tour
At the scheduled time, we'll meet next to the famous Aqueduct, one of the most symbolic monuments of Segovia. From here, we'll begin our guided tour in Spanish of the capital of this province.
Historians believe this to be the best-preserved Roman aqueduct in the world. It's more than 2000 years old and you can't miss it in the city.
Leaving this architectural marvel, we'll head to Calle Real, the main street in the city. Here, we'll see spots like Medina del Campo and Corpus Christi Squares and the Roman Church of San Martín.
In Plaza Mayor, we'll observe the "Lady of the Cathedrals" for its size. We'll enter the Cathedral of Segovia to explore this 16th-century architectural gem from the inside, noting the fusion of Gothic and Renaissance elements.
Then, we'll continue the tour towards the neighbourhood of Canonjías to arrive at our last stop: the Alcazar of Segovia, one of the most famous fortresses in Spain. After a guided tour of the Alcazar, we'll conclude this tour after 2.5 hours.
