Discover the colonial-style monuments of Java island on this private tour of Semarang. You'll encounter churches, temples, and the rainbow village.

Tour Details

At 8 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Semarang to explore the historic city center. You'll discover colonial-style architecture and visit the Blenduk church, where Protestants and Catholics shared an altar for centuries.

Next, we'll visit Lawang Sewu, known as "the building of a thousand doors." Built in 1917 for the Dutch railway company, it served as a prison during World War II and is considered one of the most haunted places in Indonesia.

You will have 1 hour of free time for lunch (not included) before we regroup to visit the Chinese temple Sam Poo Kong, enjoying its gardens and distinctive red roofs.

Afterward, we'll take a 15-minute drive to Kampung Pelangi, where residents painted the houses in bright colors, transforming the area into the "rainbow village."

Finally, we will conclude the tour between 6 pm and 8 pm at your selected finish point.
