Tour Overview

Your day will begin at 8 am with a pickup from your hotel in Semarang, kicking off our journey through the historic heart of the city. As you traverse the streets, the impressive colonial architecture will captivate your senses. Our first stop will be the notable Blenduk church, a significant site where both Protestants and Catholics have worshiped together for centuries.

Next, we will visit Lawang Sewu, famously known as "the building of a thousand doors." Erected in 1917, this mansion served as the headquarters for the Dutch railway company, but during World War II, it took on the role of a prison. Locals refer to it as the most haunted location in Indonesia!

Afterwards, you will have a one-hour break to enjoy lunch on your own (not included) and relax before we regroup. We will then head to the stunning Sam Poo Kong Chinese temple, wandering through its picturesque gardens and appreciating its vibrant red roofs.

Our journey continues with a quick 15-minute drive to the delightful Kampung Pelangi neighborhood. The residents took the initiative to brighten up their community by painting their houses in lively colors, transforming it into the renowned "rainbow village".

To conclude our memorable day, we will accompany you to your selected finish location, with the tour wrapping up between 6 pm and 8 pm.
