Description
After meeting at the designated time at the Gyeongbokgung metro station exit (opposite the stairs near the National Palace Museum doors), we'll begin our guided tour of Gyeongbokgung Palace, one of Seoul's most important palaces.
We will approach the Gwanghwamun Gate, the main entrance to the palace complex. You'll learn about the intriguing history of this landmark, a significant symbol of Seoul.
Inside the palace, we will visit the throne room, Geunjungjeon, the King's office and private chambers of the King and Queen, including Sajeongjeon, Gangnyeongjeon, and Gyotaejeon. The tour will provide insights into prominent figures of the Joseon Dynasty.
Additionally, we will see the Amisan Garden and the Gyeonghoeru Pavilion, a structure on an artificial lake, along with views of the Bukaksan Mountains. The tour concludes after 2 hours at the exit of the palace.
