Do you want to travel back to Korea's past? This Seoul city tour takes us around some of the main parts of the capital, learning its history along the way.

Tour Details

At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up at your preferred location in Seoul to begin a tour of Jongno, the city's most traditional district. This area features temples, palaces, and alleyways that showcase the essence of authentic Korea.

Our first stop will be Jogyesa Temple, where we'll spend 20 to 30 minutes appreciating its atmosphere, golden statues, and colorful lanterns. Next, we’ll watch the changing of the guard at Gyeongbokgung Palace and partake in a 1-hour guided tour of the complex, built in 1395, including Geunjeongjeon and Gyeonghoeru.

After, we will explore the National Folk Museum of Korea for 20 to 30 minutes, viewing artifacts from the Joseon period. Nearby, we’ll stop for photos at the Blue House, the president's official residence.

We'll visit the Ginseng Museum to learn about this root in traditional medicine. Afterward, in Insadong, you will have 1 hour of free time to explore and have lunch. We will then walk through the Gwangjang Market for about 30 minutes before continuing to Namsangol Hanok village, a restored Korean village. Lastly, we’ll take the Namsam cable car up to Seoul Tower, offering 40 minutes of free time at the observatory.

After approximately 8 hours of touring, we’ll conclude in Myeongdong or near City Hall, depending on your preference.
