Korean Folk Village Experience
We'll commence our day early, gathering in downtown Seoul before setting off towards the Korean Folk Village located in the city of Yongin. This excursion promises an extraordinary morning filled with authentic experiences.
Upon our arrival, you'll be greeted by an array of structures from the Joseon dynasty, showcasing grand residences belonging to the elite of the period alongside thatched cottages that housed the common folk. The village impressively features three distinct sections to explore!
Next, take a moment to stroll peacefully alongside the village stream, allowing yourself to reconnect with nature amid over 80 varieties of trees. Our exploration continues with a captivating Nonga show, where you will witness a vibrant musical presentation by farmers celebrating their hopes for a bountiful harvest.
Additionally, you'll have the chance to visit various craft workshops, where artisans will demonstrate the creation of items using materials such as bamboo, wood, straw, glass, and traditional Korean paper.
To enrich your experience further, you will have some leisure time to indulge in the local cuisine, sampling delightful dishes such as naengmyeon, muk, bibimbap, and dumplings at your own pace.
