Constructed in 1962, this cable car was the first of its kind in South Korea, standing as a bridge between the historic past and the city's modern skyline. It symbolizes the country's modernization during recovery.
Inside the cable car, you will witness the stunning interplay between the verdant mountain landscape and the modern structure of the tower. The ascent lasts about 3 minutes and reaches an elevation of up to 138 m (453 ft). Don't forget your camera!
Operating Hours
The Namsan Cable Car runs daily from 10 am to 11 pm. For those choosing the cable car option, ticket collection will be at a different site specified during booking. The ticket exchange operates every day from 10 am to 6 pm.
