Pocheon Excursion

On this excursion to Pocheon from Seoul, we'll visit a quiet valley and explore the Garden of Morning Calm.

Description

After gathering at the designated point in Seoul, we'll set off for Pocheon. Upon arrival, we'll head to the Garden of Morning Calm to stroll its paths and discover over 5,000 different plant species. Following this, we will visit an apple farm in Pocheon, where you can learn about apples and sample them. Extra apples can be taken home if not consumed on-site. Next, we'll explore the famous Art Valley, known for its role in Korean cinema and its scenic lake surrounded by cliffs, which was enhanced through an ecological restoration project. A monorail ride will provide an optimal view of the area. At midday, enjoy a lunch break at a local restaurant. The tour concludes 9 hours after starting, returning to the meeting point in Seoul.

Apple Farm

Activities at the apple farm vary seasonally. From July to August, activities include making marmalade or apple tart. Between September and October, the focus shifts to apple harvesting.
